To be eligible for submission you must be an active CMC member and your show must have been submitted for air on a CMC channel within the previous year. Only 1 image per show and each JPEG photo must have titles identifying the show and you as the producer- member. For instructions on capturing a still image from a Final Cut Pro timeline, click here. Once captured you can bring it in on your own flash drive or email it to us at postmaster@communitymedia.org. CMCNB Board Bylaw Election

At the January meeting the Board of Directors adopted several minor changes to the CMCNB bylaws. These include referencing our new DBA name (doing business as) Community Media Center of the North Bay and redefining our regional service area as "Sonoma County and neighboring counties."

As CMCNB continues its plan to become a regional center the board also recommended several important changes to the terms and number of directors that need to go to you, our active members, for a vote of approval.

As announced at the Annual Meeting on May 26, 2011, the results of the election passed the bylaws change.
Summary
  • Changes the number of directors from 14 to "not less than 13."
  • Provides for a new category of "additional" directors, with one (1) director to be appointed by each governmental, or educational entity that provides revenue equal to or exceeding 20% of CMCNB's annual budget.
  • Changes the terms of elected and appointed directors.
  • Changes the method for choosing elected directors to assure at least one (1) and no more than two (2) directors are elected from the membership each year.
  • Allows Designated directors to serve at the pleasure of the organization designating the individual.
To read the proposed text of these changes along with the deleted sections, please click on the link to the relevant sections 7.03 and 7.04.
